The challenge
HP asked us to create online trainings for HP Imaging and Printing (IPG). The idea of the training was to help sales managers position the current range of HP IPG products and make it easier for them to sell to the end customer.
The idea
Establishment of a training portal and creation of 15 e-learning trainings under the name “HP ScORE” (Sales-centered Online Retail Education). The ten- to fifteen-minute-long interactive training modules delivered important information about new products, their positioning within product categories, market trends, sales techniques and internal processes. An integrated reporting tool registered how often and for how long the trainings were used.
The result
- Extremely high training efficiency and user friendliness have made ScORE a very popular training tool
- Approx. 78 % of sales managers use it on a regular basis and have noticed measurably improved sales success
- Significant cost reduction has been achieved by avoiding face-to-face meetings
